We all know that sports involves judgement calls and split second decisions in evaluating lots of factors. Officials, like all the players, are attempting to give their best performance. Everyone recognizes that observers from different angles see different things and that its impossible to catch every detail. Thus the NFL and NCAA have systems to review plays and makes many different angles available to the Replay Booth. Pretend you were the Replay Official.
